New Rabbit & Crow a success

01/04/2015

In what was a new event on the shooting calendar for 2015. The Coaker Family hosted the Rabbit & Crow timed event where shooters teamed up in pairs to shoot report pairs of 4 to 5 targets at a time with the ideal of mimiking real bush shooting where there is a combination of quick loading clear communiation and a reasonable ammount of luck.  The day saw 27 teams (54 Shooters) shoot 3 rounds of 64 targets as a team. High Gun team for the day was Hugo Graesser & Ben Hooper with a 181/196 which included a 64/64 in the 2nd round the only clean round shot for the day. The layout was all very shootable targets in their own right it was only the combination of shooting and reloading that made the day extra fun.  There was plenty of encouragement from the other teams and a really enjoyable day had by all. Thanks must go to the ever hard working people who put a huge amount of effort to make this great club even better and growing with each shoot.
